Open Water Scuba Diver and Enriched Air Nitrox Diver
** Open Water Scuba Diver: This entry-level course will teach divers the fundamental knowledge and skills to scuba dive and engage in open water diving activities.
Topics include dive safety, physics/physiology, marine life, dive equipment, dive planning, basic underwater navigation, and understanding/preserving the underseas environment.
** Unique to this course is a rescue diver portion that is part of the course curriculum. The rescue diver portion affords the basic diver learned skills to aid an unconscious diver to the surface and perform lifesaving rescue breaths.
Nitrox: This continuing education course is for students enrolled in a NAUI open water course or certified as an open water scuba diver. This course provides divers with the skills to utilize EANx as a breathing medium that adds reduces surface intervals and reduces nitrogen buildup in your body tissues that can lead to decompression illness.

Open Water Scuba Diver
** Open Water Scuba Diver: This entry-level course meets the requirements for ISO Level 2- autonomous diver certification. It will teach divers the fundamental knowledge and skills to scuba dive and engage in open water diving activities without supervision, provided the diving environment, activities, areas dived, and the equipment approximate those of training.

Enriched Air Nitrox Diver
The NAUI Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx/Nitrox) course teaches you how to choose the proper blend of Nitrox for your dive profile, determine maximum depth limits for your Nitrox mixture, analyze your breathing mixture, and plan and safely execute each dive. You learn about the physiology of oxygen and nitrogen; advantages, disadvantages, and risks of nitrox; oxygen toxicity; hazards and precautions of handling oxygen; the concept of Equivalent Air Depth; use of EANx with standard Air Dive Tables; common gas mixing procedures; and more.
